The mission of NATEF
To support the advancement of fuels and propulsion technology for academic,
industrial, and military partners by participating in research, development
and deployment activities.
Purdue University offers a unique facility to develop and test fuels and materials. Additionally this allows us the ability to assist in the development of new powerplant systems as well. Our test center is developed and supported by a cooperative agreement from the United States Air Force. NATEF incorporates a variety of different systems to help foster the development of new technologies for aviation.
