Meet Lisa Lewis and Jamie Poppe. Two women in aviation who move Purdue forward.
Lisa (pictured on the left above) is a 2001 Purdue AvTech graduate, who was fortunate to spend over ten years in business aviation flying for two Fortune 500 companies, most recently as an International Captain on Gulfstream 550. She is thrilled to have been allotted the opportunity to return to Purdue to as faculty member, where she is able to give back, share her industry insight, and teach pilots about flight as a career.
Jamie (pictured on the right above) has been a full-time flight instructor for Purdue for over 16 years. She flies the Beechjet, Phenom, Seminoles, Arrows, Cirrus and Decathlon. She teaches both primary and advanced students and specializes in aerobatics and upset recovery training.
