Considering A Change Of Major (CODO) Into CGT?

Each student's record is individually reviewed and either accepted or rejected.

There are no specific courses to be completed before being eligible to CODO, however, students must have at least a 2.5 GPA and be in good academic standing at the time of CODO (not on probation). There is no need to sign up for a CODO meeting.

For further information on the CGT Department's CODO process, to find out how your courses would count in the CGT program, or for any other relevant information that will assist you in making a wise decision about CODOing, contact either CGT Advisors:

OR

Danielle Gilbert - dlgreer@purdue.edu 765-494-2458, KNOY 417

The CGT Department will place into a CODO hold status until all CODO applicants who are below an overall accumulated GPA of 2.50 and who could have the minimum GPA after grades as posted at the end of the current session.

Acceptance into CGT will be determined on a space available basis near or after the end of the current session.

  • Go to the Registrar's Website and print out 2 copies of your CODO papers.  Have both copies signed by a representative of your current school.
