We are using OPNET for:

Research and lab development for upper level Computer Technology (CIT) courses

The OPNET software will be used for upper level CIT courses for network design and implementation. The capabilities of the OPNET Modeler will allow for ease of network design and testing before deployment in a project setting. This will allow for students to see how their network design will work, and also how it could work in a larger environment by changing a few design constraints and variables.

All work done with OPNET will be documented and at least two (2) labs will be developed for the upper level CNIT Courses.
