Transfer Credit Evaluation Process for Current CIT Students:
If you would like to take a course at another College or University that will transfer to the CIT plan of study, you must submit a Transfer Credit Request for approval at least one month prior to enrolling in the course. From the database listed below, create a report and submit along with the CIT Transfer Credit Approval form to Angie Murphy, armurphy@purdue.edu, Knoy Hall 249. Course requests for transfer credit for CNIT courses require submission of the course description, syllabus, and sample projects.

You must complete the course with a grade of C or better and submit an official transcript to the Office of Admissions.
If you have a course for which no equivalency exists and you would like it to be evaluated, send the following information to Credit Evaluation in the Office of Admissions:
- The complete name of the college or university (including its regional branch designation, if applicable)
- The course subject area (course prefix - may be letters or numbers)
- The course number (not the section or registration number)
- The course description (cut and paste from the school's course catalog)

"Can Be Replaced By" List
Courses credit transfer for the Lafayette Ivy Tech Location. Many of the courses are transferrable from other Ivy Tech locations exept the listed equivalencies for MA 223 and MA 224.
Minors Available to CIT Students:
CIT will allow students to pursue any minor that is open for CIT enrollment. Requirements for minors are approved by the hosting department.
