Tenure Track Faculty Position in the Area of
Digital Forensics
Purdue University
Purdue University's Department of Computer & Information Technology invites applications for a tenure-track, assistant, or associate professor position, depending upon experience at the West Lafayette main campus beginning in August 2010. The department's mission focuses primarily on teaching, educational scholarship through applied research, and industry/professional outreach. The faculty position exists in the area of digital forensics, focusing on financial sector cyberforensics, live system and network based cyberforensics, and cyberforensic tool development with an opportunity that includes curriculum and facilities development. An earned doctorate in a related field is required for employment, promotion, or tenure for this position.
The individual must have relavant experience and scholarship in the area. We are seeking an individual interested and able to conduct applied research in a collaborative area environment, teach undergraduate and graduate courses, as well as engage with relevant public and private sector partners to contribute to emerging needs in digital forensics.
