Columbus Learning Center Lecture Hall room LC 1000

Commencement Information:

Commencement for fall 2011, spring 2012, & summer 2012 candidates is scheduled for Tuesday, May 8, 2012.  The ceremony will begin promptly at 6:00 pm and be held in the Columbus Learning Center’s lecture hall.  Please note, the CLC lecture hall only seats 200 people, so the number of graduates participating in the ceremony will determine the number of guests students may invite to the ceremony. Information about the number of tickets each candidate will receive is below.

A reception for graduates and their guests will be held in the CLC student commons immediately following the ceremony.  The reception will end at 8:00 pm.

Information packets will be sent to fall grads and spring/summer candidates during the beginning week of February.

Fall 2011 graduates:

Final degree audits are completed by the West Lafayette advisors.  Once all requirements have been met and the degree conferred in the WL system, the WL registrar’s office will mail the diploma directly to the student’s home address.  Graduates should view their myPurdue account to ensure there is no outstanding balance with the University and the appropriate address is on file.
