Purdue University – ECET Visiting Assistant Professor – Posting 001992-2008 - The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology at Purdue University invites applicants for Visiting Professor position at its South Bend Statewide Technology location beginning August 2008. This position is a 10-month renewable academic appointment with the successful candidate teaching a variety of courses in the Electrical Engineering Technology B.S. program. The department’s mission is primarily teaching, educational scholarship through applied research, and industry/professional/community outreach.
Requirements: Candidates for this Statewide Technology position should be able to teach in two or more of the following areas: analog and digital electronics, controls, embedded microprocessors, and communication electronics. All candidates should have an earned Masters Degree or Ph.D. in electrical engineering, electrical engineering technology, or a relevant field. All candidates must have at least three years of full-time relevant U.S. based industrial experience. Prior teaching experience is preferred.
