Biography:

Dr. Elliott's teaching and research interests are in the field of biometrics. He currently leads a team of graduate and undergraduate students who work in the area of biometric technology. For more information about the team, please visit www.biotown.purdue.edu.  His research interests within biometrics include dynamic signature verification, biometric performance, and biometric education initiatives. He has spoken at several conferences, and is active in biometric standards initiatives. He is the Secretary of INCITS (InterNational Committee of Information Technology Standards) M1 Technical Committee on Biometrics, and is also a US delegate to ISO/IEC JTC 1 SC 37 WG5. In the past, he has been the Vice Chair of INCITS. He has written numerous articles on biometrics (see publication list)
