About the College of Technology at Kokomo:
Purdue's College of Technology resides in 10 Indiana communities across the State. The College of Technology Statewide is part of Indiana's economic engine and provides high quality engineering technology and leadership programs to communities and regions they serve to help keep the existing job base, create new economic opportunities that did not exist before and/or improve the quality of life to the people they serve. Purdue University offers technical courses and a majority of the general education courses are delivered by the host institution, or by the Indiana College Network via distance education. Master agreements are in place with Indiana University, Anderson University and Vincennes University. Classes are taught by Purdue faculty or those approved by academic department heads. There is a low student-to-faculty ratio, with care for student success, classroom access to state-of-the-industry technology. Approximately 53% of all Statewide Technology students are full-time and 47% are part time. Approximately 82% of Statewide Technology graduates remain in the community where they received their degree. The Purdue College of Technology at Kokomo is part of the economic engine for the State of Indiana and takes its teaching and engagement mission seriously.
