Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology (ECET)
Bachelor of Science
Explore engineering principles through valuable hands-on, lab-based experiences. Students gain a strong foundation in electronics and are encouraged to focus their studies in their areas of interest, which correlate to workforce demands within business and industry. Graduates offer their employers immediate contributions as team players equipped with problem-solving and project management experience.
Michael Earl proudly displays his project, a microcontroller controlled X-Y plotter driven with stepper motors, that he constructed as part of the requirements for the course ECET 209 Introduction to Embedded Microcontrollers. Lab instruction is an integral part of every course in the ECET curriculum. |
A Senior Capstone course: Each demonstrated a project that they designed and built. The class size of 9 students allow more individual attention. Left to Right: Melissa Kovachik, Adam Pizer, Cameron Lyle, Rob Mouser, Alicia Pena, Michael Riley, Brian Stuecker, Fielding Proffitt, and Brian Jackson |
