Knoy Hall digital signs are operational
|
The digital signage in the student lounge area of Knoy Hall is now operational.
The signs were installed to help provide information to students, faculty and staff about college events and news stories.
Requests to publish information on the signage can be submitted online. After filling out the required information at the top of the form, click on "Submit to the Knoy Lobby Digital Sign." Submissions will be cleared and posted by the college's Office of Communications.

The 2011 Solar Decathlon team from Purdue University hosted a topping off party April 29 at its construction site.

A new Web presence has been created for the Department of Technology Leadership & Innovation (TLI). The new department is the result of a merger between the departments of
Organizational Leadership and Supervision and Industrial Technology. The
URL for the Web site is www.tech.purdue.edu/tli. A list of frequently asked questions has been prepared, especially for students in the merged departments.

Bassetts create new MET scholarship fund
|
Roger and Carol Bassett have created an endowed scholarship for mechanical engineering technology students interested in careers related to fire protection. Roger Bassett graduated from Purdue in 1959 with a degree in mechanical engineering. They are owners of R.W. Bassett and Associates.
Roger Bassett is a lifetime member of Purdue Alumni Association. Former president of the Illinois State Fire Protection Commissioners, he received the “Doc Wilson” Award from the Illinois Association of Fire and Police Commission. It is the highest award that can be presented to a commissioner in the state.
The first scholarships will be awarded once the endowment is fully funded.
