Third department-level master's degree approved

The Department of Computer Graphics Technology will be the third in the College of Technology to offer a department-level master’s degree. The Purdue Board of Trustees approved the degree program at their May meeting.

This degree program will prepare students to demonstrate leadership in applied computer graphics professions and to advance knowledge in the application and teaching of computer graphics.

The departments of Industrial Technology and Computer and Information Technology have also been approved to offer department-level master’s degrees. All three degrees are awaiting final approval from the Indiana Commission on Higher Education.
