Technology students among 'Five Students Who . . .'
Ellen Zouras (top) and Manny Cuevas (bottom) are among five Purdue students featured in the most recent Five Students online series.
Purdue University has started collecting stories of its students who are connected by a common theme. The online series is called Five Students, and several College of Technology students have been featured since its inception last fall.
The most recent installment, which helps celebrate Women’s History Month, highlights five students who were inspired by Purdue women. Two of the featured students are from the College of Technology.
Ellen Zouras, a building construction management student, explains how Donna Beering, an aviation technology alumna, inspired her to pursue construction management.
Manny Cuevas, an industrial technology/industrial distribution student, offers insights about Amelia Earhart and her influence on him.
Other College of Technology students who have been featured include:
- Joshua Nelson, mechanical engineering technology: Five students who are green
- Five students who are modern day Amelias (all aviation technology students)
- Bryan Morris, building construction management: Five students who are veterans
- Kindra Rodgers, organizational leadership and supervision: Five students who live well
