Science Journalism Laureates panel |
The 2010 Science Journalism Laureates Town Hall Forum will focus on “Communicating Complex Ideas”. Faculty, staff and students are invited to the forum, which begins at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, Nov. 4, in Lawson Hall Commons. The forum will be recorded for broadcast on National Public Radio’s “TechNation” at a later date.
The event allows researchers to meet with national journalists who can help tell their research stories to the general public and potential funders. Three laureates will be introduced this year, and they will be joined by others who were named in previous years.
The forum will be followed at 11 a.m. with a reception.
The College of Technology is one of several sponsors for this annual three-day event.
