CIT students compete in case challenge
Students from the College of Technology and Krannert School of Management participated in a recent Boston Scientific Case Challenge. The teams were charged with solving a problem within Boston Scientific's manufacturing and supply chain information systems division. Each team included members from the Department of Computer and Information Technology and from Krannert. The CIT students on the first place team were Suruchi Shah and Courtney Kelso. CIT students on the second place team were Jared Parrish and Jonathan Latzke. Each winning team member received a cash prize.
Laux appointed to ATMAE post
Chad Laux, assistant professor of industrial technology, has been appointed to a two-year term as president of the student division of ATMAE, the Association of Technology, Management, and Applied Engineering. His duties include planning and organizing student division content for the annual ATMAE conference.
