Two MET faculty honored with college awards

Recipients of three of the 2011 College of Technology faculty awards have been chosen, according to Dennis Depew, dean of the college. Two of the five recipients are from the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology.

Award winners will be officially recognized at the Faculty and Staff Recognition Luncheon on April 29, 2011.

Awards and their recipients are:

  • James G. Dwyer Award for Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching: Bryan Hubbard, assistant professor of building construction management
  • Outstanding Tenured Faculty Member (co-recipients): Qingyou Han, associate professor of mechanical engineering technology; Richard Fanjoy, associate professor of aviation technology
  • Outstanding Non-tenured Faculty Member (co-recipients): Henry Zhang, assistant professor of mechanical engineering technology; Jeffrey Richardson, assistant professor of electrical and computer engineering technology
