Register early for Think Tech! classes for teens
Registration is now open for the second annual Think Tech! classes, offered by the College of Technology as part of its Tech Week celebration in April.
Because enrollment is limited, faculty and staff who are interested in having their high school students participate are encouraged to register soon.
Over three evenings, students can choose from 10 classes that represent all academic areas of the college. Participants can choose to learn more about leadership, net-zero energy homes, laser technology, glass airplane cockpits and more. Most classes will include interactive projects or demonstrations.
A one-time fee of $20 covers enrollment in one class each evening. Classes are offered April 11, 12, and 14.
CoT professors who will be leading the classes are Nancy Denton, Eric Dietz, Mark French, Larry Gross, Ray Hassan, Bill Hutzel, Todd Kelley, Athula Kulatunga, Chad Laux, Nathan Mentzer, and Rodney VanDeveer. Graduate student Sandun Kuruppu will also assist.
A full class listing and registration information is available online.
