Sharon Kraebber was named Purdue’s 2010 Outstanding Academic Advisor by her peers in the academic advising organization PACADA. She is an academic advisor for the Department of Organizational Leadership and Supervision in the College of Technology. The honor also becomes her nomination for a national advising award sponsored by the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA). The University award, which was presented February 2, recognizes the winner’s commitment to professionalism, active involvement in students’ academic goals, and professional development. Kraebber earned a bachelor's degree and doctorate from Purdue University and a master's degree from Memphis State University. | |

Purdue University is accepting applications from high school teachers, guidance counselors and students for a summer program that focuses on ways to attract girls to computer-related careers. | |

Feb 15: Deadline for beginning students to apply for College of Technology scholarships.
Feb 26: Third Annual Boilermaker Ball, sponsored by Purdue Alumni Association, Indianapolis, 5:30 p.m.
Mar 1: Deadline for continuing students to apply for College of Technology scholarships.
Mar 4-6: Discovering Opportunities in Technology! (DOiT) program for high school juniors.
Mar 25-27: Vision program for select high school students.
Apr 7: 2010 Undergraduate Research and Poster Symposium, Purdue Memorial Union, Noon-7:00 p.m. Register by March 10.
May 15: Spring 2010 Commencement for College of Technology (Division III), Elliott Hall of Music, 2:30 p.m.
Jun 20-25: Computer Graphics Technology 2010 Summer Camp.
