The Departments of Building Construction Management and Industrial Technology at Purdue University are pleased to announce their acceptance of Project Lead The Way credits. A maximum of 12 credit hours of these courses may be used in any of the Departments’ undergraduate majors: Building Construction Management, Industrial Technology, Industrial Distribution, or Engineering/Technology Teacher Education as either technical electives or general electives. Noted below are the approved PLTW courses and the IT course equivalent.

In order to receive credit, the following criteria must be met:

High School must be PLTW certified.

Student must complete the course with an 85% average.

Student must complete the course portfolio.

Student must score at least 70% on the PLTW college examination.

Instructor must be a licensed technology education teacher (AERO, CEA, CIM, IED, POE).

Instructor must submit test score to the Department of Industrial Technology.

Student must enroll in a Department of Building Construction Management or Industrial Technology major.
Credit will be posted to the student’s transcript during their first semester at Purdue University. Contact the departmental office for additional information.
