Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET)

Associate of Science (A.S.) Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology  (MET)

The Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology is available through Purdue University's College of Technology at Richmond.  The two years of coursework in the A.S. program are actually the first half of the Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree.  After earning the A.S. degree in MET, graduates may continue on toward a B.S. in MET at another campus or a B.S. in either Industrial Technology or Organizational Leadership and Supervision in Richmond.  Please refer to the Overview of the MET program for a more in-depth description of the curriculum. Purdue's Richmond students earn the A.S. degree through satisfactory completion of the specified MET curriculum, comprised of the courses listed below.  Descriptions of the courses taught by Purdue faculty can be found in Purdue's Courses and Schedules page.

Note:  A concentrated-study technical certificate is also available in a field related to MET.
See " Industrial Technology" under MET-Related Certificates .
