Associate Professor Gene Harding joined Purdue in 2003. He has over 27 years of combined active and reserve service in the United States Air Force. His Air Force experience includes software maintenance on the nation's missile warning systems, electronic intelligence analysis, wide area computer network management, electronic warfare, and research in radar signatures. Before coming to Purdue, he also spent 3 years at Agilent Technologies, working with their logic analyzer and oscilloscope product lines. Professor Harding holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

Karl is an associate professor in EET. Karl has a Ph.D. in Engineering and Public Policy from Carnegie-Mellon University and has been with Purdue since 1985. Karl is a member of several professional organizations and is a consultant to the United States Air Force on information mediators.

John Piller has worked with machine controls and electrical construction, all the way from large building electrical systems, commercial fire alarm systems, jail and prison control systems, to monitoring sewer systems with embedded wireless sensors under manhole covers. He started teaching full time at Purdue in the Fall of 2011. Mr. Piller holds a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from Purdue University and is pursuing a PhD focused in robotics.

Sarah, an associate professor in MET, is a graduate of Notre Dame, with a Master's Degree in Materials Science and Engineering. She was employed by CTS Corporation in Elkhart for fifteen years prior to joining Purdue Technology in 1999. Sarah is a registered professional engineer and a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.

Fred J. Ziolkowski received his B.B.A. from Western Michigan University and his M.B.A. from the University of Notre Dame. Prior to joining the faculty at Purdue, Fred has been an instructor at Purdue North Central, Findlay College, and Federal City College. Fred has also held various positions spanning a seventeen-year time period at Whirlpool Corporation. In addition to employment, Fred has also served on various boards, including The Education-to-Careers Policy Board- Northern Indiana Region Two, Elkhart County Alliance for Postsecondary Education- Elkhart IN., and The Learning Society- Elkhart IN. Various associations Fred has been affiliated with are, The Institute of Electronic Engineers-(IEEE), American Society for Engineering Education, and The Organizational Behavior Teaching Society. Some of Fred's publications include: Management in Transition: The Supervision as Coach and Consultant, Going Beyond Technology and Management Styles in Addressing the Problems in American Business, You Are Empowered!: The Ethics of Management's Responsibility.
