Fall 2004


August 20, 2004

Last day for a plan of study to be received for graduation in December 2004. (Must have obtained all required electronic signatures from with the College of Technology.)

August 23, 2004   Fall classes begin.
August 27, 2004   Last day for late registration. New registrations after this date will be assessed a $200 late fee.
September 7, 2004   Last day to cancel a course assignment without it appearing on record.
September 20, 2004   Last day to cancel a course assignment without a grade, for course additions, change of level or change of pass/not-pass option.
October 1, 2004   Last day to declare candidacy for degree for December 2004 graduation.
October 11, 2004   Spring registration begins.
October 15, 2004   Last day for students who register for “degree only” to submit a Thesis Receipt or registration will be revised to research registration (does not apply to non-thesis master’s students).
October 27, 2004   Last day a course assignment may be cancelled (with passing or failing grade).
October 27, 2004   Last day, under extenuating circumstances, for course additions, change of level or change of pass/not-pass option.
November 9, 2004   Deadline for completing any incomplete grades due to convert to failing grades this semester.
November 12, 2004   Deadline for submission of College of Technology Graduate Studies Form 1 Request to Schedule Oral Examination for those graduating December 2004. (Please note: CoT GS Form 1 must be filed a minimum of 3 weeks prior to the examination date.)
November 19, 2004   Deadline for filing Request for Appointment of Examining Committee (GS Form 8) for December 2004 graduates. (Please note: GS Form 8 must be filed a minimum of 2 weeks prior to the examination date. This form is REQUIRED for ALL Thesis and Doctoral Students, as well as those non-thesis students who’s examining committee differs from their advisory committee.)
December 3, 2002   Deadline for filing of Plan of Study for all first semester M.S. graduate students.
December 3, 2004   Last day for final examination (presentation of Directed Project to Committee) for December 2004 graduates.
December 3, 2004   Signed copy of final report due in College of Technology Graduate Studies Office for graduation in December 2004.
December 10, 2004   One bound, plus one unbound, copy of the doctoral dissertation must be deposited in the Thesis/Dissertation Office, Room 170, Young Hall (YONG). (The unbound copy will be sent to University Microfilms International for microfilming.) Only one bound copy of a master’s thesis is to be deposited in the Thesis/Dissertation Office. Master’s and Ph.D. candidates with “Confidential” theses/dissertations must also submit their departmental copies. Deposit appointments can be made by calling (765) 494-2600. (For those graduating in December 2004.)
December 19, 2004   Commencement Ceremony (1st Division - 9:30 a.m.)
December 19, 2004   Electronic Plans of Study for those graduating in May 2005 must have received final approval before this date.

May 17, 2004   New registrations will be assessed a $200 late fee (Module 1: 4-week session courses, Modules 1-2: 8-week session courses, and Modules 1-3: 12-week session courses).

Last day to cancel a course assignment (Module 1: 4-week session) without it appearing on record.

May 21, 2004  

Last day to cancel a course (Module 1: 4-week session) without a grade and for course additions/modifications.

May 21, 2004   Last day to cancel a course assignment (Modules 1-2: 8-week session) without it appearing on record.
May 26, 2004   Last day to cancel a course assignment (Modules 1-3: 12-week session) without it appearing on record.
May 28, 2004   Last day to cancel a course (Modules 1-2: 8-week session) without a grade and for course additions/modifications.
June 1, 2004   Last day a course assignment may be cancelled (with passing or failing grade) for Module 1: 4-week session courses.

June 7, 2004   Last day to cancel a course (Modules 1-3: 12-week session) without a grade and for course additions/modifications.
