Weekend Master's Program
Application and Admission
Applicants for admission to the College of Technology Weekend Master's Degree Program must possess an earned baccalaureate degree, typically with a grade point average of at least 3.00 or better on a 4.00 scale, and must apply formally to the Graduate School by doing the following:
- Completed electronic application form
- A Statement of Purpose (300-500 words) highlighting the following:
- Purpose for graduate study and career objective
- Justification of a graduate degree pertaining to attainment of career objectives
- Professional plans and applied research interest
- Elaboration of special abilities, awards, achievements, scholarly publications, and/or professional history
- Three letters of recommendation (one must be from current employer)
- An official transcript from all institutions of higher learning
Also specify which program you are applying to.
Please note: If for some reason you do not meet the above requirements, please submit additional explanation of extenuating circumstances. A telephone or in-person interview may be a part of the application process.
Students applying to this program must have completed two or more years of full-time work in supervisory or management levels. Students can apply online by going to the Electronic Online Application .
