Lifetime and Distinguished Service Awards
The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes respected leaders in national and worldwide industries who have created and advanced a vision of excellence for technology. This award also recognizes these leaders for their significant contributions to the Purdue University College of Technology and its mission.
Criteria for the Lifetime Achievement Award:
- Nominee may or may not be an alumnus of Purdue University.
- Nominee has made significant and distinctive contributions to the advancement of his/her field.
- Nominee is an exemplary mentor and outstanding leader.
- Nominee demonstrates a career-long impact in their discipline.
- Nominee has contributed his/her time, talent, and/or financial resources to the Purdue University College of Technology.
The Distinguished Service Award recognizes respected leaders in the field who have helped steward the College toward creating and advancing a vision of excellence. Recipients of this award have demonstrated contributions to the College through their uniqueness and dedication to technology and Purdue University.
Criteria for the Distinguished Service Award:
- Nominee may or may not be an alumnus of Purdue University.
- Nominee has made significant and distinctive contributions to the advancement of his/her field.
- Nominee is an exemplary mentor and outstanding leader.
- Nominee has engaged with the College and demonstrated exemplary stewardship.
- Nominee has contributed his/her time, talent, and/or financial resources to the Purdue University College of Technology.
Nominations for either award should consist of the following: 1-2 page executive summary describing the contributions and accomplishments of the person being nominated based on the criteria for each award; as many as four testimonial letters; and a vita/resume.
Note: These awards are not annual awards and will be bestowed upon worthy candidates as they are brought forward.
