Student Spotlight
Each week we will feature a student who attends Purdue University College of Technology in Anderson. This is a great way to learn about our students, their experiences and how they contribute to our location and community.
Ren Copeland:
This edition of Student Spotlight features traditional student, Ren Copeland of Greenfield. Ren is a junior, majoring in Engineering Technology. He is a graduate of Greenfield Central High School and is currently a Sales Associate at Wal-Mart. Ren describes himself as easy going with an eccentric personality. He’s open minded and holds an endless variety of interests. He greatly values his family and friends. He chose to further his education at Purdue Anderson because it was close, cost effective and the easiest way for him to accomplish his goals in education. When asked what he likes most about our campus he replied, “Small classes, allowing one on one with instructors. The less crowded working environment keeps him from feeling overwhelmed. His dream job would be a design engineer or architecture. He enjoys Asian food, spending time with family, friends and his dog. His favorite quote sums up Ren’s view on life, “I’d rather try and regret, than abstain and regret.”
