Local Financial Aid awards from the Anderson Campus for 2009 have been announced.
Locally awarded scholarships have been announced at the Anderson campus of Purdue University. The following students have received awards: Jason Lee received a Purdue College of Technology scholarship funded by the Indiana license plate fund. Kelly Dyer and Sheryl Thayer share a scholarship funded by various supporters of the College of Technology in Anderson. Comfort Motion Technologies funded a scholarship awarded to Brittney Wilhoit. The John Eddy Scholarship for continuing students was awarded to Larry Whitely. Shiuan An received the Independent Federal Credit Union scholarship. Kevin Harding was awarded the Star Financial Bank scholarship.
Great appreciation is given to those companies and individuals who support our students. Tax deductable scholarship donations may be sent to Purdue-Anderson, 2705 Enterprise Drive, Anderson, IN 46013. Please make check out to Purdue University – scholarships.
Financial Aid
To be considered for financial aid (grants, scholarships, student loans, and work-study), Purdue University College of Technology students must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). www.fafsa.ed.gov.
Purdue University also offers complete financial aid information at their Division of Financial Aid Services web site http://www.purdue.edu/DFA.
Local Scholarships (Anderson) :
- Several scholarships are available only to students attending Purdue CoT in ANDERSON. INCOMING FRESHMAN and CONTINUING STUDENTS
- Current scholarships available: Project Lead the Way
How to Apply:
- Complete the FAFSA or Renewal (filing on line at www.fafsa.ed.gov is highly recommended)
- List Purdue University, DFA, SCHL, 475 Stadium Mall Drive, West Lafayette, IN 47907-2050 as the school you will attend. The Title IV code number for Purdue University is 001825. (This is the same even if you are attending the Anderson campus)
- Complete any additional documentation if requested by Purdue's Division of Financial Aid.
Important:
College of Technology Anderson and Muncie students are admitted to Purdue University's College of Technology. Financial aid, including student loans, will be administered by Purdue University. Local scholarships are also awarded. (See "Local Scholarship" section above for applications)
Students who drop classes or withdraw from the university prior to the end of the 4th week of classes may be required to repay all or a portion of the funds they were awarded.

Children of Disabled Verteran (CDV) & Veteran Affairs (VA)
CDV Benefits
Child of Disabled Veteran (CDV) benefits are for 124 credit hours.
Non-degree students may receive CDV benefits for a maximum of 12 credit hours.
You MUST :
- Notify the Purdue University Division of Financial Aid Office at facontact@purdue.edu each semester that you want to use CDV benefits.
- Complete and submit a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). FAFSAs are available at the College of Technology Columbus/Southeast Indiana location in Student Services. You can also apply online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
- Complete an Application for Remission of Fees For a Child of a Disabled Indiana Veteran.
