Students may set up a connection to BLACKBOARD by following the following instructions:

1. Go to http://blackboard.purdue.edu

2. Click on "West Lafayette Open Campus"

3. Click "Create Account"

4. Fill in the required fields (indicated with a red asterisk). Your username and password can be anything you wish. However, it is not recommended to use your Purdue career account password for the Open Campus.

5. Click "Save"

6. You will get a message stating "Your account has been created." Click "Entry Page"

7. Click "Course List"

8. Under "Select a Division," click "Purdue Statewide Technology"

9. Under "Select a Group," click "IT" (or appropriate department)

10. Under "Category," click "IT" (or appropriate department)

11. Click on the green arrow to the left of "IT 104." (or appropriate course #)

12. Click on the "Registration" icon on the righthand side of the screen that corresponds to the IT 104 - A Walton – Online class. (appropriate to the course you registered with)

13. Login with your Open Campus username and password.
