NATEF Facilities

The NATEF site is located in the Niswonger Aviation Technology Building at the Purdue University Airport (KLAF) in West Lafayette, Indiana. It consists of three stories of labs, test cells, and data acquisition centers. Our test cells feature an F109 turbofan engine, a PT-6 turboprop, as well as conventional piston engines. When testing comes online we will have a state of the art fuel and material test and evaluation center capable of conducting advanced fuels research in the fields of emissions, material compatibility, and endurance.
