Aviation Management Technology (AMT)

Careers in the aviation industry require a combination of skills: technical, managerial, communications, and critical thinking. Purdue's aviation management program combines these into a degree program that focuses on airline management, airport management and air traffic control. Teamwork and responsibility are also emphasized. The unique nature of the industry offers a variety of career opportunities across the country and the globe.

International opportunities
All aviation management students complete a globalization requirement, either by studying abroad, completing an internship outside the United States, or taking one of several identified classes. You may also participate in an approved international research project that includes at least seven days of international travel. The requirement also can be met by proving foreign language competence or at least 15 days of international travel or residence since your 12th birthday.
