Construction Management Technology

The School of Construction Management Technology is widely recognized as a leader in building construction education, having been accredited by the American Council for Construction Education. Students receive a hands-on education from professors with rich industry experience. An active Construction Advisory Council helps the department stay at the forefront of the industry’s needs.

Undergraduate Majors

Use digital models to design the construction of buildings and infrastructure in the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) industry.

Learn leadership and business concepts to take on management positions in the construction industry. Gain hands-on experience with industry-driven, state-of-the-art construction technology. This major includes coursework in commercial, industrial, civil and residential construction. Focus on general construction or an area of specialization.

Combine your appreciation for architectural design with communication skills to learn the process of constructing and managing the built environment.

Learn to create building interiors which improve quality of life, increase productivity, and protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public.

Much like the structure to a building, Purdue created a foundation that allowed me to grow in my career. No curriculum mirrors exactly what your chosen industry may require, but having the general classes in construction, along with the technical study, gave me a jump start over most other schools’ graduates.
