College of Technology TEAM Summer Camp Program
TEAM (Technology Expanding All Minds)
Summer camp for 8th and 9th graders
June 22 - 26, 2008
The purpose of the TEAM summer program is to introduce young people to a college environment and all the career opportunities in Technology. Students will be introduced to the College of Technology through activities/experiences that would be of interest to young women. During your stay we hope to increase your awareness of technical career choices and encourage you to take the appropriate high school courses in Math, Science and English to better prepare yourself for college and the College
of Technology. Participants will be introduced to many hands-on learning experiences offered by the eight technology departments listed in the brochure. Some of the activities will include visiting the Purdue airport, learning about manufacturing processes in Mechanical Engineering Technology, graphic design in Computer Graphics Technology and many more (Tentative agenda).
