A Glimpse at Purdue and the College of Technology
Take a glimpse at collegiate life and your options through Purdue’s College of Technology. Purdue University's College of Technology offers more than 20 majors and specializations in eight technology areas — aviation, building construction management, computer graphics technology, computer and information technology, electrical & computer engineering technology, industrial technology, mechanical engineering technology/manufacturing engineering technology, and organizational leadership and supervision.
The College of Technology provides select high school students with a firsthand look at many of its program areas through the Vision program. Scheduled for March 28 to 30, 2013, participants will experience collegiate life and the College of Technology by:
- Attending class lectures and participating in lab activities with College of Technology students
- Meeting with the College’s faculty and staff
- Asking questions during break-out sessions with technology students
- Spending evenings with fellow Vision participants and Minority Technology Association members
This camp is made possible with the support of General Motors.
Participants may check in on Thursday, March 28 between 1:00 and 2:30 pm, Eastern Standard Time, at the Purdue Memorial Union Hotel (see the map below for directions). Please allow ample travel time as the program will begin promptly at 2:30 pm (EST). Deadline Date: March 2, 2012.
