Coupled with Project Lead The Way, Purdue University’s College of Technology is hosting a program with workshops that will be of interest to women. The program participants will be introduced to the College of Technology’s various departments. Students will participate in lab activities led by faculty in Computer Technology, Industrial Technology, Mechanical Technology and Electrical Engineering Technology.

All high school students in Project Lead The Way classes. All students, regardless of gender, are welcome to participate.

Where:

Knoy Hall of Technology located at the corner of Grant St. and Northwestern Ave. Parking is available at the Northwest Parking garage as shown.

Transportation:

Transportation to and from the program will be the responsibility of the parent/guardian or school.

Cost:

There is absolutely no cost to you!!! You and one parent will be provided with a free breakfast from Panera and lunch at the Purdue Memorial Union. Additional siblings and parent/guardian lunches are $10.00 each.

How do I sign up?

Return your enrollment form as soon as possible! Enrollment is limited to 60 students, please respond no later then October 5th, 2007. Any applications received after this date will be put on a waiting list and accepted only if space allows.

Directions to Purdue:

From Chicago:
Take I-65 South to S.R. 43 (exit 178). Follow Soldiers Home Road to Kalberer Road (350 North) to Yeager Road to Northwestern Avenue. Follow Northwestern Avenue into campus to Northwestern Ave. parking garage.

From Indianapolis:
Take I-65 North to State Road 26 (exit 172). Proceed west on State Road 26 and turn north onto Sagamore Parkway (U.S. 52). Continue on Sagamore     Parkway for approximately three miles to Yeager Road. Turn south on Yeager and continue to Northwestern Avenue. Turn south Follow Northwestern Avenue into campus to Northwestern Ave. parking garage on Northwestern Avenue into campus.
