Change of Degree Objectives (CODO) Requirements

The demand for enrollment in some majors in the College of Technology currently exceeds the resource capacity to meet that demand. For this reason some departments must limit CODO's based on a semester-by-semester analysis of the total department enrollment.

There are two levels that students can qualify for CODO application. Students on academic probation may not CODO into the CIT program.

Application Requirements Level I - 3.25 unadjusted cumulative GPA and completion of courses below will automatically be admitted to CIT.

The Department of Computer & Information Technology has specific courses that must be taken with a grade of C or better before automatically being accepted into the program. See the table below to view the required courses by department.

Application Requirements Level II - Admission 2.8 adjusted GPA.

The Department of Computer & Information Technology requires a minimum adjusted GPA of 2.80.

The Department will review all CODO applications that have at least a 2.8 GPA.
