The Department of Computer and Information Technology (CPT) at Purdue provides educational opportunities that apply information technologies to solve business and industrial problems. We offer degree programs in Information Systems and Telecommunications and Networking.
Our students are exposed to state-of-the-art laboratories and work hard to develop their knowledge and skills to make themselves some of the most highly sought after IT graduates in the country.
The Department of Computer and Information Technology does not offer its own graduate degree; however, the School of Technology offers the Master of Science degree with several professional options available. The degree offers a non-thesis, directed project plan of study that is highly flexible and interdisciplinary. Accordingly, it is possible for graduate students who are interested in information systems or information technology to design a valuable graduate education experience. All School of Technology graduate degrees are offered and administered through the Graduate Studies Program.
