New Student Orientation
Every new student whether beginning freshman or transfering to Purdue University College of Technology at Columbus or Greensburg MUST attend an orientation session.
During the session you will:
- Take a tour of the campus
- Learn valuable information about Purdue University College of Technology
- View Financial Aid
- Register for classes
Orientation Binder
If you have received your admissions letter from West Lafayette, you will need to schedule your placement test and new student orientation.
Schedule your placement test 2 weeks before orientation by calling 812-314-8526 to ensure we can register you for all your classes at orientation.
After you have scheduled your placement test, you can call 812-314-8526 to schedule your new student orientation. Our recommendation is that you attend an orientation session as early as possible. This will enable you to register for the schedule that works best for you. The longer you wait to attend, the greater the risk that the classes you need will be closed.
Because you are a Purdue College of Technology student at an IU campus, you will have an IUPUC account and a Purdue account. Set up your IUPUC username and passphrase at least a day before your orientation date. Go to itaccounts.iu.edu. Click on create my first account and follow the instructions. To set up your Purdue account, you will need to attend orientation.
