Biography:

Dr. Jenny Daugherty is an Assistant Professor in the Technology Leadership & Innovation Department at Purdue University. Dr. Daugherty received her Ph.D. from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and was a doctoral fellow with the National Center for Engineering and Technology Education. Her research focuses on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) professional development, particularly spanning high school to workforce education. She is also interested in researching the intersection of technology and leadership. Dr. Daugherty has worked on multiple nationally funded projects, published numerous journal articles and book chapters, delivered several conference presentations, and conducted national teacher workshops. Prior to joining the faculty at Purdue, Dr. Daugherty was the Managing Director for the Center for Mathematics, Science, and Technology at Illinois State University and was a Curriculum Specialist for the International Technology & Engineering Education Association's Engineering byDesign program.
