Biography:

Bedrich Benes is Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Graphics Technology at Purdue University at West Lafayette, Indiana. He studied Computer Science and received his Master of Science from Czech Technical University in Prague. In 1998 he received his doctorate in Computer Science from the same institution. Prior to joining Purdue, Dr. Benes worked as Assistant Professor and has taught courses in the fields of 3D computer graphics and real-time rendering in ITESM CCM in Mexico City.In 1995-1998 he worked as Assistant Professor at Czech Technical University of Prague Bedrich has presented various papers at professional conferences and published in journals. He is coauthor of three text books in the area of Computer Graphics. Dr. Benes is a member of IPCs and serves as reviewer of various conferences.
