John P Young
Professor Biography:John P. Young is a Professor in the Department of Aviation Technology at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. Prof. Young has recently finished his term of president of the board of directors for the University Aviation Association (UAA). He continues as an executive committee member of the board, as immediate past president. He also serves as chair of the finance committee and nominations committee of UAA. This national/international professional organization represents over 100 colleges and universities and over 600 members engaged in collegiate aviation education. His teaching/scholarly interests include: human factors and crew resource management, transport aircraft systems and operations, and advanced flight simulation.
