Director

Jon Aull

 

Jon C. Aull is director of the College of Technology locations at Indianapolis and Lafayette. A 1991 graduate of Purdue University’s Aviation Technology program where he completed the aviation maintenance technology program. After receiving his degree and an FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate, Jon attended Millersville University where he received a Master of Education in Technology Education. Additionally, he has done much work in the area of education leadership.

Aull oversees operations at the two locations, which serve 10 counties and boast a combined enrollment of more than 300 students pursuing degrees in Aviation, Organizational Leadership & Supervision, and Industrial Technology. He came to Purdue from Wallace Community College in Dothan, Alabama, where he served as instructional technologist and director of the Center for Instructional Excellence with broad responsibility for the professional development and technical support of distance learning including management of the college’s learning management systems and web-site. Jon has previously served in educational roles as a coordinator of faculty development, tenure track faculty member, high school teacher and department chair, mentor teacher, as well as vice-president and president of the his county teacher’s association.

Jon enjoys speaking on the subjects of aviation education, educational leadership, adult education, and the use of technology to improve teaching.

 

 

Student Services Coordinator

Patti Blackburn

Patti came to Purdue University Aviation Technology at Indianapolis in January 2008.   She has over 7 years of counseling and recruiting experience, as well as over 10 years of experience at Purdue.  She is a Purdue graduate and is an avid sports fan.  She is happy to provide assistance to students with academic progress and career planning.  Patti also works with prospective students.
