Scholarships
More than $200,000 in scholarships is awarded annually by the College of Technology to its students based on merit and need. Last year, 185 students benefitted from scholarships awarded by the college. To be considered, beginning and continuing students must submit a scholarship application each year of their attendance.

General Criteria:
Students enrolled or who intend to enroll in any Purdue University program at Kokomo may be eligible to apply for any and/or all of the following scholarships. Minimum general qualifications for these scholarships are: (1) applicant must be a high school graduate with a "B" or above grade average; continuing students must have an overall GPA of 2.75 (A=4.0); and (2) applicant must be admitted to Purdue University. Scholarship recipients may be eligible to reapply for these scholarships three times (maximum of four years).

Note regarding the General Motors Scholarship:
The General Motors Scholarship was established at Indiana University at Kokomo in 1982. Purdue University College of Technology at Kokomo students are eligible recipients of the scholarship. The amount of the scholarship is $1000 annually, to be awarded $500 each semester. The criteria for the scholarship are as follows: (1) entering or continuing freshman with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (A = 4.0) (2) full-time status (must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours a semester) (3) open to everyone, with preference given to dependents of Delphi employees (4) must be admitted to a degree program (5) the award is need-based but is not restricted to financial need (6) past recipients and upper classmen are ineligible for the scholarship.

The first is a $3,000 scholarship and will be disbursed in the amount of $1,500 per semester. The second is a $1,500 scholarship and will be disbursed in the amount of $750 per semester.
