Organizational Leadership Certificate

If you are employed full-time and want to improve yourself educationally and professionally, the Department of Organizational Leadership and Supervision can prepare you for a leadership position and the success that follows.

After admission to the University, nine courses are required for completion of the Organizational Leadership Certificate, a special program designed for working adults. Phase I provides the foundation for additional study during Phase II which addresses labor/management relations, leadership, and training and performance issues. Phase III focuses on leadership philosophy, management of gender and diversity, conflict, team development, and change. The course requirements for the Organizational Leadership certificate can be applied toward a Purdue College of Technology two-year Associate of Science degree or a four-year Bachelor of Science degree.

The classes taken in pursuit of the Organizational Leadership Certificate are available individually for the purpose of self-improvement. All certificate-track students must meet admission requirements of the College of Technology and be admitted to the Organizational Leadership and Supervision program no later than at the completion of Phase I.

Implementation date: August, 1993 for Certificate awarded December 1993 or later.
