Mission Statement

The Purdue University College of Technology at Lafayette Advisory Council is composed of business leaders who fully comprehend the needs of the community and will help support the College of Technology at Lafayette fulfill its mission to develop leaders for a rapidly changing technological world.

Purpose

The purpose of the College of Technology at Lafayette Advisory Council will be to:

Provide a channel of communication between the College of Technology at Lafayette and the business community.
Identify regional trends, global trends, and projections within business/industry which impact the College of Technology at Lafayette.
Advise the College of Technology at Lafayette in determining the direction of its existing programs and credit vs. non-credit programs.
Identify potential service and applied research activities which would impact the community.
Promote and participate in appropriate business-faculty-student interaction activities and programs.
Support the College of Technology at Lafayette by identifying sources of funds to supplement university resources.
