Biography:

Professor Corum studied in the quality and metallurgy areas for her graduate and undergraduate programs. Her teaching interests include process improvement, materials and manufacturing processes.

Professor Corum also works on applied research in surface enhancement through shot peening. Shot peening is frequently used in automotive and aerospace industries, among others, to improve fatigue life of critical components.

Most recently Professor Corum has worked in the healthcare quality area with local hospitals.
