Professional Profile
Professor Dues is an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Technology Department at Purdue University - New Albany. He has over 10 years of industrial experience in the design of heavy duty conveyors and process equipment. His industry experience includes the design and analysis of equipment using CAD and Finite Element Analysis (FEA), as well as the trouble shooting of equipment once it is installed. He has extensive experience with machine design, particularly springs, bearings, gears and welds.

At Purdue, Professor Dues will concentrate on classes related to Strength of Materials, Machine Design and Manufacturing Processes.

Professor Dues is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Kentucky and a member of American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME).
