Organizational Leadership and Supervision
(OLS)

Organizational Leadership and Supervision is a highly individualized, practical, people-oriented approach to the practice of supervision. In addition to management skills, students gain a technical background in a specialty area of their choice such as operations or quality control.

International Study Opportunities

International study is available through the Study Abroad program where students combine course work with an international internship. Summer programs are currently available in London, England and Sydney, Australia. Click the Study Abroad link for more information.

OLS Job Fair - September 28 PMU South Ballroom

Jennifer White was announced winner of the College of Technology Outstanding Academic Advisor 2010 at the CoT Faculty and Staff Recognition Luncheon on April 30th. Criteria for selection was based on many attributes including her consistant encouragement and motivation toward her students as they move toward the goal of graduating from OLS.

OLS 2010 Distinguished Alumni -Dr. Thomas DeLong, endowed chair at Harvard Business School, Dr. Windle was his major professor.

LBJ Texas Leadership Conference - OLS will be represented by Emily Mushach and Zach Morgan. Thanks to OLS Alumni for supporting their travel to this conference.

Sharon Kraebber, winner of the Outstanding Advisor Award for Purdue University, has now been awarded the NACADA Outstanding Advising Certificate of Merit in the Primary Advising category as part of the 2010 National Academic Advising Association Annual Awards Program for Academic Advising. NACADA is a global organization of counselors from all of higher education in the U.S. with over 10,000 members. Ten Certificates of Merit awardees will be recognized at this year's fall conference in Orlando, Florida. Congratulations, Sharon!

OLS Job Fair will be Sept. 28, 1010 in the South Ballroom of the PMU. Students will have the opportunity to meet with recruiters seeking talent for positions in sales, production management, team development, quality and cost control, human resource management, organizational consulting and logistics, banking and finance, labor relations and organizational training and development.
