Schedules
Each semester, Purdue University and Indiana University East offer a wide variety of coursework. Semesters include fall, spring, summer I (six-weeks), summer II (six-weeks) and summer II (ten-weeks). The Campus Schedule of Classes lists specific IU East and Purdue University course offerings for current and upcoming semester(s), with times and locations.
The Campus Calendar includes important dates for current and upcoming semester(s). Here you will find dates associated with registration, fees, semester start and end, as well as scheduled holidays.
*Notes:
Most academic programs require a working knowledge of algebra. OLS courses previously carried the SPV prefix. CGTT department courses previously carried the TG (Technical Graphics) prefix Following each course number and title, the number of hours of credit given for each course is indicated in parentheses. These abbreviations are also used in the descriptions: Abbreviations:
"Recit." refers to a problem-solving, Recitation session. "P" refers to the course Prerequisite(s) (other courses that must be successfully completed prior to enrollment). "C" refers to the course Corequisite(s) (other courses which must be enrolled in during the same academic sessions). "R" refers to course Recommendation(s) prior to enrollment, but are not necessary for enrollment.
