aircraft engines and develop alternative fuels in work that also aims
to reduce the nation's reliance on imported oil.</p>
<p class="FORMAT-BODY">The National Test Facility for Fuels and
Propulsion is funded with a $1.35 million grant from the U.S. Air Force
and will be housed in the Niswonger Aviation Technology Building at the
Purdue Airport.</p>

<p class="FORMAT-BODY">The addition of 18,200 square feet of learning
space to the former aviation technology building will help centralize
the department's operations and provide new lecture halls, classrooms,
meeting rooms, a collaborative suite and a new computer laboratory. The
building also has been soundproofed to eliminate airplane engine noise
from the nearby airport. of a Northrop Grumman Global Hawk unmanned military aircraft before it is
displayed at the Purdue University Airport September 9-10.</p>
<p>The model aircraft will be on display from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00
p.m. each day at the airport terminal.</p>

<p>Problem #4, as listed in the article, is &ldquo;Hangar Repairs Take Too Long.&rdquo; The Hangar of the Future would streamline processes to minimize the time airplanes are out of service.</p>
