Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET)

 

An associate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET) will prepare you for a broad range of positions throughout technology enterprises. You will learn how to manage people, processes, machines, and production resources. You will combine classroom learning with hands-on laboratory experience to understand how to solve mechanical problems and gain insight into the manufacturing production and design processes.

Your classes will address how scientific and engineering principles can be applied to product development, manufacturing, manufacturing processes, testing, process control, quality control, materials, fluid power, heat power, mechanics, product/process design, and cost analysis.
